Art and Tech Enthusiast and Engineer Zach Vinci is a big fan of smart headphones. That’s no secret. Listening to music and podcasts while tinkering aways at projects has always been Zach’s “thing.” Now, smart headphones are emerging with a different focus in mind. This time around, music takes a backseat while mental health is turning the key in the ignition.
This week, Zach Vinci, Engineer and Tech Extraordinaire, had the unique opportunity to try out a pair of MW75 Neuro smart headphones. But these headphones weren’t what Zach was expecting… and chances are, they aren’t what you might be expecting either. These headphones aren’t for listening to music or podcasts. They’re for the enhancement of mental health. As a Tech Engineer, Zach Vinci is fascinated by the product. So he attended an event this past weekend in hopes of figuring out how the smart headphones work.
In simple terms, the MW75 Neuro is a BCI-enabled technology device. BCI stands for Brain Computer Interface. Zach Vinci explains this as technology that scans a user’s brain for key insights into cognitive health. It is creator Neurable’s intention that this advanced AI-powered electroencephalography (EEG) sensor enabled device will be able to capture and analyze brain signals. The idea is to collect brainwave data that helps the user better assess brain health. Quite the revolutionary tech, Zach looks forward to updates on this unique pair of smart headphones.
